WATSON DEMOLITION named as MotoStars Road Racing Series Sponsor!
Newcastle based firm Watson Demolition & Earthworks have partnered with MotoStars Australia to become the naming rights sponsor for the exciting new racing series.
The family owned company dedicated to delivering prompt & reliable demolition & earthmoving services in Newcastle, Sydney, Central Coast & the Hunter Valley, hold a strong passion for motorsport and have supported multiple racing projects including Australia’s premier Supermoto event- The Newcastle City SuperMoto Race.
Both avid and very capable motorcycle racers themselves, brothers Warren and Aaron Watson reached out to support the series, eager to unearth some young talent and build a pathway for the next generation of motorcycle racers in Australia.
MotoStars founder and former MotoGP racer, Damian Cudlin, was thrilled to have gained major support for the series; something he admitted was vital in getting the series up and off the ground.
“The Watson’s are personal friends of mine but they’ve been big supporters of racing in this country for a long time, especially in Supermoto, and I couldn’t be happier to have their logo associated with MotoStars.” Damian enthused.
“Securing sponsors is tough in this economy so I’m especially grateful for both Warren and Aaron’s support, and I hope to give them a good return on their investment with a fantastic series that competitors enjoy racing in.”
The MotoStars Road Racing Series will feature 8 classes of racing including Supermoto, Junior Road Racing, Senior Road Racing and even Mini-Moto and individual category sponsors are still to be announced.
Round 1 of the series will be held at the AwesomeDrive Kart Circuit, in Kembla Grange, NSW on the 23rd of April.
